generic drivers?

Christian Wirtz
Hi,

is pcsclite-muscle dealing only with external devices like smartcardreaders atached via USB or RS232 or are there also devicedrivers for internal UARTs of SOCs like the NXP-Vybrid in the project?

regards

Christian

pcsc-lite is an API for accessing readers. It does not implement actual
drivers. In "USB world" the defacto standard is CCID.

There is no such standard for embedded devices. But you can make a
ifdhandler for your platform, but unless you have portability
requirements, having a separate PC/SC stack on an embedded SOC might not
be something you want have (but there are bits and pieces and
optimizations for embedded platforms in pcsc-lite code)

Martin
